Frame Front Gangs Hydraulic Fold Hydraulic Lift System
The 8700-LTF features heavy-duty frame construction. Both main and inner frames are all-welded, entirely of 8” x 4” x .375 wall tubing. To carry the massive outer gangs, each outrigger on the wing frames is additionally strengthened over the wheels to an unbelievable 12 inches.
Staggered, overlapping front gangs on the Model 8700-LTF disc ensures that all soil at the center of the disc is cut out cleanly and evenly. Besides leaving a more level soil profile, this feature eliminates the need for a center shank or bulk buster normally supplied on most conventional tandems.
Four large 5" x 36" (127 x 914mm) cylinders folds Model 8700-LTF hydraulically to a transport width of 17' (5.2m).
A rephrasing hydraulic lift system is standard equipment on the 8700-LTF disc. Depth stop segments c/w holder (main frame lift cylinder only) are supplied with each disc to ensure continuous same-depth tilling. Each of the wing frames can be easily leveled using a conveniently located eye-bolt adjustment. Cylinder arms on each of the rockshafts are equipped with replaceable hardened wear bushings for prolonged trouble free performance.
Main Frame Rockshaft Walking Beam Axles Rugged Tires Inter-Locking Bearing Spools
A heavy-duty main frame rockshaft forms the backbone of the 8700-LTF lift system. Constructed of 6-5/8” diameter heavy wall tubing, the rockshaft rotates freely in three greaseable graphite-plastic bearing saddles designed to eliminate metal to metal wear points.
Tandem Walking beam axles are standard on the 8700-LTF main frame when equipped with 15.0/ 55-17, 18 PR tires. Each walking beam pivots on two tapered roller bearings to improve weight distribution and stability when the disc is being transported.
Rugged 40 x 19 x 19.5 Off-Highway tires (6) are available as an option on the 8700-LTF. Severe ground conditions, repeated and prolonged road travel or additional floatation are only a few reasons to consider this option.
Inter-Locking Bearing Spools - This exclusive Ezee-On feature ensures that each bearing sleeve interlocks with adjoining half spools to provide positive drive to blades and reduces possibility of blades turning on gang shaft. Optional for 24" or 26" blades, standard with 28" and 30" blades (available with 10.5" and 12" spacing only).

GANG BEAMS: Constructed of 6" x 4" x .375 wall tubing.

FLOATING HITCH: allows the disc to follow the ground contour for smooth level field finish, less plugging & ridging and better protection against stones. (Ezee-On Exclusive)

GANG ANGLE: 21° front and 19° rear offers the best combination for consistent ground penetration and smooth trash flow.

SPOOLS: withstand far greater ‘shock loads’ from rocks or stumps, thereby eliminating spool breakage. Compressed to
maximum density prior to assembly, Ezee-On’s fabricated spools ensure the gang will not shift and become loose.

BLADES: 26” x 5/16” (660 x 8mm), 26” x 3/8” (660 x 9mm), 28” x 3/8” (711 x 9mm) or 30” x 3/8” (762 x 9mm) notched or smooth.

FRONT GANGS: Staggered and overlapping eliminates need for center shank or bulk buster.

BEARINGS: T2-215 Series Trunnion Mounted Bearings.

RIGID HANGERS: Massive 1¼" x 5 welded steel construction. Slim line design and contoured to maximize trash clearance. Hangers are U-Bolt mounted to gang beam for ease of adjustment or removal.

STONE-FLEX HANGERS: Optional, C-Style 1¼” x 2½” formed spring steel.

SCRAPERS: 4” wide formed carbon steel, U-Bolt mounted scraper bar for maximum adjustment. Optional heavy duty scrapers are available for rugged conditions.

FURROW FILLER BLADES: Integral to rear gangs, four are supplied standard with each disc.

WALKING BEAM AXLES: are standard on the 8700-LTF
mainframe. Each walking beam pivots on 2 tapered roller bearings to improve weight distribution and stability, especially when in transport.

SLIP-IN SPINDLES: all spindle-axles are designed for easy removal and maximum strength. Each spindle is bolted into a sleeve and can be removed by simply removing the bolt and pulling out the spindle-axle.

HUBS: Heavy-duty 8 bolt hubs (4) are standard on 8700-LTF main frame wheels, 6 bolt hubs supplied standard on wing frame wheels.

TIRES: Four 15.0/ 55-17, 18 PR tires are supplied standard on the 8700-LTF main frame, four 12.5L x 15 FI L/R 'D' tires are supplied standard on each wing frame. Six 40 x 19 x 19.5 Off-Highway tires are available as an option.
