| |
| With an average weight per
foot of 450 lbs., the 4590 is heavy
weight by competitive standards. The 4590 is
available in either 8" or 9" spacing with working
sizes from 35.5 ft. to 40.5 ft. |

|
|
|
| All 4590 Discs feature
a rugged all-welded frame constructed
of 4” x 4” high tensile tubing. Critical fore/aft beams on both the main
and wide wing frames are doubled for additional
strength. |
|
| Forward-action
wheel legs on the wings promote
a level field finish by reducing ridging
or gouging in the field. No need to add
expensive and troublesome gauge wheels. |
|
| Tandem Walking
axles are standard equipment on
the Model 4590 main frame. Heavier discs
such as the 4590 require tandem walking
beam axles to provide better weight distribution
for more stable and safe transport. Each
of the walking beams on the 4590 pivot
on two tapered roller bearings for long,
trouble-free performance. |
|
| A rephrasing
hydraulic lift system is standard
equipment on all 4590 discs. Depth stop
segments c/w holder (main frame lift cylinder
only) are supplied with each disc to ensure
continuous same-depth tilling. Each of
the wing frames can be easily leveled using
a conveniently located eye-bolt adjustment.
Cylinder arms on each of the rockshafts
are equipped with replaceable hardened
wear bushings for prolonged trouble free
performance. |
|
|
|
| |
| |
|
|
 |
| Slip-in spindles are
standard on the 4590 main and wing frame wheels.
All spindles are designed for maximum strength
and ease of removal. Simple remove one bolt and
pull out the axle – a valuable time saving
should a tire repair be required. |
|
| All 4590 discs fold
hydraulically to a transport width of 17’6”. Hydraulic
lockout valves are supplied standard to prevent
accidental operation of the lift and wing-fold
circuits when the disc is being transported. |
|
| Staggered overlapping
front gangs are standard on all 4590
discs. This feature ensures that the ground
is cut cleanly and evenly by the front gangs
thereby eliminated ridging problems at the
center. Also eliminating is the need for center
shank normally supplied with conventional tandem
discs. |
