98" (2.5m) Frame Depth
Ezee-On designers have made trash & residue management a top priority. 7450 Chisel Plows are designed with an extra-long frame with 34” (864mm) of under-frame clearance to achieve unmatched trash & residue flow. 4-row frame design ensures good residue flow around the wheels and the distance between adjacent shanks is maximized.
Rugged Shank Assembly
Ezee-On designed the 7450 to work even the hardest soil.
The trip design utilizes increasing force geometry. As the ground gets harder, the shanks may start to tip back slightly. This increases the angle of attack of the sweeps and their ability to penetrate the harder soil increases. As the sweep tips back, the springs extend and the penetration force increases dramatically. The key is to have an increasing force so that the trips will never tip enough to adversely affect quality of seedbed. The result is that the 7450 will penetrate ground the competition barely scratches.
