Ezee-On Manufacturing, a leading manufacturer of heavy-duty tillage & seeding equipment based in Vegreville, AB, requires a Credit Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a credit professional with agricultural/ industrial equipment experience or a manufacturing background.

Agricultural or Industrial/ construction equipment credit management experience would be an asset as would a general accounting background.

Job Responsibilities:
1. Reviews and evaluates customer financial health in order to protect the accounts receivable investment from potential bad debt losses
2. Balances the need to collect money and takes appropriate credit risks with the need to stimulate sales growth
3. Maintains and improves cash in-flows
4. manages risk and exposure for accounts through continuous analysis and assessment of creditworthiness achieved through financial analysis
5. Maintains the establishment of credit extension or limits in accordance with established credit policies and corporate philosophy
6. Reviews, determines and recommends appropriate action to be taken in extraordinary credit risks either within or exceeding normally delegated parameters
7. Utilizes and analyzes a wide variety of financial information in order to make acceptable credit decisions
8. Reviews credit reports, financial statements, credit interchanges, lien laws, individual and inter-company guarantees, letters of credit, D&B reports & other investigative tools to set credit limits
9. Negotiates acceptable terms and conditions of letters of credit through a thorough understanding of legal and commercial implications relating to contract administration
10. Maintains close awareness of market trends, sales department focus and programs, the economic climate locally and internationally, the political and country risks of the countries to which export sales are made and the individual business trends of key and marginal accounts in the agricultural equipment industry
11. Closely monitors all accounts and initiates collection actions as necessary
12. Responsible for effective credit investigation and approval to ensure an acceptable range of risk and ultimate collect ability of customer accounts
13. Responsible for timely collection of customer accounts
14. Establishes customer credit limits, updates account indicative information and monitors accounts based on most recent information available
15. Works with territory sales staff to ensure accurate and timely inventory audits are carried out
16. Communicates credit decisions to sales people and works with sales to adjust limits periodically in response to experience and changing conditions
17. Works directly with customers as well as sales staff to collect assigned past due accounts and resolve credit problems in accordance with company policy
18. Performs other duties and projects as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
• 4 or more years credit risk management experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Results driven, hands-on individual willing to make credit/ collections calls regularly
• Proven skills to manage ongoing business needs and relationships
• Background in B2B, high volume, fast paced environment
